Weddings at Pilgrim
Our church provides a beautiful venue for weddings. We host marriage ceremonies for both members and non-members of Pilgrim Congregational UCC. As an Open and Affirming congregation, we support and celebrate marriages of people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.
Most weddings are held in the church sanctuary, which can seat 300 on the main floor and up to 500 with use of the balcony. Our chapel is available for weddings with up to 60 guests.
- Each couple participates in three pre-marital counseling sessions with one of Pilgrim’s pastors.
- Pilgrim provides a wedding coordinator for the event.
- Wedding rehearsals are typically scheduled one day before the wedding.
Music
Pilgrim’s musician has right of first refusal to perform on the pipe organ and piano at weddings. Right of first refusal does not apply for other instruments or musical accompaniment.
Receptions
Pilgrim’s Fellowship Hall accommodates up to 200 guests. Pilgrim provides banquet tables and chairs and we can help determine the best configuration for your group. Our commercially-equipped kitchen is conveniently accessible for caterers and can be rented for a reasonable cost. Pilgrim allows beer and wine to be served in accordance with church policy.
Fees
Wedding fees total $950 + Musician and Pastoral fees.
