Pilgrim Congregational UCC in Tremont invites you to attend Lenten Film Series. For six weeks leading to Easter, the church screens fascinating and intriguing films on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., in a beautiful movie theater on the 1st floor of the church. The first film will be screened on March 13 and the series ends on April 17.

Every Year during lent Christians around the world take a time to reflect on their life and refocus their spiritual leanings. The period of 40 days is meant to imitates Jesus’ journey into the wilderness as described f.x. in Luke 4.1-2.
Lenten Film Series is an opportunity to use films for/as a spiritual practice. We are going to be drawn to various stories about people confronting their own lives, in a myriad of different ways.
