The recent blast of cold weather made the knitters of our Prayer Shawl Ministry re-direct our energy to scarves and mittens for the children of Merrick House. Yes, it’s October already, but we think that with some extra help, we can outfit several classes of children in our neighborhood through the settlement house. Our deadline is Wednesday 12 December.
We’ve got plenty of yarn and several patterns for scarves and mittens. Use ours, or use your own. Knit – or crochet – at home, or join us on the 2nd Tuesday of November and December at 6:30. We meet in the Pilgrim Library.
