A delegation of four people from Pilgrim Congregational UCC will be taking a trip to Tucson, Arizona October 19-24 through BorderLinks to learn more about immigration issues. The trip will include learning from people directly affected by current economic and immigration policies, learning from humanitarian aid organizations and immigration rights advocates, walking desert trails, witnessing court proceedings, and learning about community-based projects that create economic and social opportunities within immigrant communities. Each member of the delegation will create an action plan on the last day to plan for actions to be taken in the Cleveland community upon their return.
