Organist/Choir Director Job Posting
Position Title: Organist/Choir Director
Hours: 8 – 10 hours per week; One Sunday service per week
Salary: $16,700 with four Sundays paid vacation (some Sundays excluded)
Specific duties to include:

Plan music for and direct 18 – 25 voice adult choir. 9:00 AM Sunday rehearsal for 10:30 AM worship service. No weeknight rehearsal. Saturday morning rehearsals before Christmas Eve and Easter services |

Play the organ for weekly services and special services throughout the liturgical year, with first option to play for weddings, commitment ceremonies, and memorial services (3-manual 1894 Farrand and Votey pipe organ; restored by the Holtkamp Organ Company, 1992) |
| Coordinate and plan music with Pilgrim’s bell choir director, brass choir director, children’s choir director, and the Christian Education committee |
| Coordinate and plan worship with Pilgrim’s pastors regarding hymn and anthem selections |
| Represent the music ministry program at Inquirers’ Dinners and other church functions |
| Seek ways to bring music from children into Pilgrim worship |
