LGBT
Committee Meeting
The new LGBT & Friends Committee had their first meeting on Sunday, February 21, and is off to a roaring start. It’s not too late to be a part of the planning process for our participation in events such as Cleveland Pride and the Gay Games. If you have suggestions for these events or other LGBT activities, please be sure to attend the next two planning sessions on Sundays March 14 and 21 following worship. We hope to see you there!
If you have ever felt insignificant or “out of the loop,” Sunday, March 21 is the service you don't want to miss. We are celebrating the time honored story of "Stone Soup." Everyone is urged to bring a vegetable (fresh, canned or frozen) to worship with them. The culmination of the story will be on Wednesday, March 24, when we invite the Tremont community to share the bounty with us at the Soup and Bread Service of the Lenten Season.
Each month, the Film Series Group enjoys fellowship through seeing a movie together and going out for discussion afterward. Join us on Sunday, March 14th for Pilgrim's monthly movie night out! For those of you who missed the winner of this year's Oscar winner for best picture, let's see The Hurt Locker. It is returning to the Cedar Lee and the show is at 7:05 PM. Everyone is welcome.
